Employee: Daniel Burdin

Position: Manager

Hotel Duties: First and foremost, I am here to make sure that all our boarding pets are comfortable and content during their stay here with us. This means preparing food each day for our furry guests and administering medication for any animals who need it. My managerial duties include making the schedule, getting supplies, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. I also work at the front desk, scheduling our guests to come in for a stay and answering any questions about boarding here, through phone, email, or in-person conversations. I’m one of the first friendly faces you will see when you visit our pet hotel, so come by to say hello and take a tour!

Favorite part of working here: I have the pleasure of getting to play and cuddle with all our amazing guests we have here at Montrose Pet Hotel!

Pets at home: I have a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd mix named Sydney and a 13-year-old Bichon Frise mix named Strider at home.

Outside Interests: I am an avid follower of sports in general, but I focus mostly on basketball, football, and MMA. I enjoy reading fiction novels such as Ender’s Game/Shadow, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, the Silo series, and the Inheritance Cycle, to name a few. I also play basketball as often as I can, although I would like to get on the court more often. I am a Netflix enthusiast, and my favorite new show is ‘Stranger Things’.  Any other free time I have is spent hanging out with my dogs, friends, and family.
